Shortly after Kate (Katie) Garner came to WGHP 5 years ago, we created a special handshake. We did this every day after her last weather hit at 550pm. Today we added a goodbye hug. She has a big opportunity that we can't announce yet. Today was her last day. Some people call their TV co-anchor their TV wife or husband. Katie was more like my TV daughter.
