The Sky have signed this former WNBA champion after the team traded star Angel Reese and cut Hailey Van Lith. This time, Chicago is adding a former WNBA champion in Natasha Cloud, who is a veteran guard who has been in the league since she was drafted in the second round by the Washington Mystics.

Sydney Taylor is the last woman standing. The Sky cut eight players in the last week. They cut their 2025 draft picks, Hailey Van Lith, Maddy Westbeld and Aicha Coulibaly. They cut their second and third-round picks from 2026, Latasha Lattimore and Tonie Morgan.

Angel Reese returned to Chicago for her first WNBA action since being traded from the Sky to the Atlanta Dream. Like most of the Dream’s starters, Reese played only the first half of Wednesday’s preseason game.
